Yorkshire Wind Orchestra are delighted to be reunited in an evening of joyful music-making as they return to the concert platform.
Featuring new music by musical director, Keiron Anderson, celebrating the chance to reunite with fellow musicians and our audiences and recognising the tireless work of the NHS during the pandemic.
We’ll be paying tribute to Joseph Horowitz, who died recently, by performing his FĂȘte Galante.
The concert also includes much-loved repertoire which the orchestra has enjoyed playing since reuniting in rehearsal, including Holst’s First Suite in E flat, Arnold’s Tam ‘o Shanter and Bernstein’s Overture to Candide.
