Percussion Fund

Help us to
reach our target

We have set up The Yorkshire Wind Orchestra Percussion Fund to raise the £12,000 needed to purchase a full set of orchestral percussion.

The orchestra only has access to a limited selection of percussion for practice purposes, so our players can only rehearse fully with our percussionists on the day of a concert (when we hire percussion items for a specific event).

Without a full set of orchestral percussion, this limitation means that the orchestra has to restrict the repertoire it can perform to a high standard.

With the support of local and regional businesses and individuals, we are already on our way to affording these much needed instruments. However, we still have a long way to go!
